Tryon Street Ensemble

The Tryon Street Ensemble is composed of three stellar musicians, all members of the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra.  Alan Black is the principal cellist, Ben Geller is the principal violist, and Joseph Meyer, violinist, is the Symphony's Associate Concertmaster.  Notably, Mr. Black is in his twenty-sixth year with the CSO and has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician with Yo-Yo Ma and Bobby McFerrin.

These eminent musicians will pool their considerable talents to provide an afternoon of memorable music that is sure to feed the soul.  Their program contains classical favorites composed especially for the violin, viola, and cello, including Mozart's Divertimento K.563.
