The innovative “klezgrass” music of Zoe and Cloyd combines the rich traditions of Eastern European Jewish folk music with American bluegrass. Husband and wife duo (John Cloyd Miller and Natalya Zoe Weinstein) have deep roots in both respective traditions. John’s grandfather, Jim Shumate, was a well known bluegrass fiddler while Natalya descends from a lineage of klezmer and jazz performers. Based in Asheville, Zoe and Cloyd never fail to delight audiences with their soaring harmonies and heartfelt songwriting. They will be joined by two accomplished back-up instrumentalists.
